SUCO Robert Scheuffele GmbH & Co. KG has gained an excellent reputation for its comprehensive
line of products for the pressure control of hydraulic or pneumatic systems including mechanical piston
and diaphragm pressure switches, vacuum switches (tailor made versions with plug or cable),
electronic pressure switches and pressure transmitters as well as explosion proof pressure switches
according to the new ATEX directive for hazardous areas.
Further, a second product group comprises centrifugal clutches and brakes, which are used when
input and output side should be separated during a standstill and the output side should work speeddependant.
Advantages of centrifugal clutches are load-free starting and slip-free torque transmission
at operating speed. Centrifugal brakes are often used as emergency braking system, with the ability to
lower or slow down loads at a defined speed.
Finally, electromagnetic clutches and brakes from SUCO feature straightforward designs and ease of
installation. Like centrifugal clutches, electromagnetic clutches and brakes can only be used for dry
running. Reliable torque transmission without residual torque is guaranteed.
